Drawing inspiration from the hair style trends of our favorite stars and celebrities has become a national pass time. One such star whose current hair style is on the must have list is Hollywood’s latest blonde bombshell Katherine Heigl.  When Katherine showed up on the red carpet at the Oscar’s with her new “eye-popping” hair color, lushes red lips and sexy 
retro hair style (a la Marilyn Monroe), Paparazzi camera’s flashed and 
pictures were sent instantly across the globe, signaling the Hollywood “glamour look is back”.

excellent starting point. To get the look, let’s take it one step at a time; starting with a style cut and shaping.

LET’S SHAPE IT:  Start with a shoulder length layered silhouette for 
volume and side swept brow brushing bangs for a flirty seductive look. 
Its “up-lifting face framing” silhouette softens facial features and adds a 
youthful look to all face shapes. With a few adjustments (trims) as it
grows you can easily find the ideal length and shape for your style.

LET’S STYLE IT:  Start with a dab of your favorite shaping Gel, Spray Gel 
or styling mousse. To get your style in motion and add volume, toss your 
hair upside down and give it a quick tousle with a blow dry. If your locks 
look a bit dry or frizzy after a blow dry, a dab of styling cream to tame it. 
For a dressy look, a quick turn around your styling iron or a fistful of steam rollers sets the stage. After, “French Lace” (tease) the crown and finish 
with a light hold hair spray and your ready for any occasion. To turn up the glam, add diamond earrings, glossy red lip stick, eye liner and shadow, a French manicure and you’ve got Katherine’s star style.

NOW, LET’S COLOR IT:  If diamonds are a girl’s best friend then being a blonde is close second. Katherine’s hair is given a Honey Flaxen blonde 
hue with a high lift tint. After, a clear glaze seals in the color and amplifies 
the shine. To keep it up the new growth is tinted (lighten) every 6 week. 
This glam color will cost a few extra dollars but is a small price to pay for
