While mid length and short hair styles have grown in popularity, the vast majority of women (75%) still prefer shoulder length and longer hair styles.

The trend for women's hair styles in 2008 will be a return to a feminine well "Groomed Look", replacing years of Messy and Shaggy Chic Look. This new look is a modern version of the classic French and Italian hair styles (short, mid length and long) with soft refreshing feminine look.
When looking for a new style be careful trendy hair do's come with an expiration date___ while classic styles are timeless!

Clean well cut, healthy looking hair is key. Custom shaped (age appropriate) and styled with a quick blow dry, hot roller or curling iron set is all it takes for the look.  Multi-dimensional hair color and make-up will play a major roll for the coming year. It's so true, the only thing new today is that which has been forgotten. And so the style pendulum swings back to a time when women paid more attention to their feminine side
 
The Tousled Look has been growing in popularity for a number of years. However,  its not as easy to achieve as one might think. To get  the look a contoured style cut is key. To create the look a number of new styling agents have been introduced (pomades, wax and styling creams) to give this style what is described as the "Just Out Of Bed Look"

The Straight Look largely driven by women's desire to straighten their natural wavy curly hair.
